SeedLinks

After conducting research into gardening apps, brainstorming through speed rounds of ideation, and engaging with the community at OMG in Auckland City, the idea for SeedLinks was born. SeedLinks is an app designed to connect the gardening community, particularly the OMG Gardens community in the heart of Auckland.

The app features a community-driven connection through functionalities like the feed and messaging, allowing users to interact and share their gardening experiences. In addition to its social features, SeedLinks incorporates a cultural element by integrating the Maramataka calendar, an ancient Māori tradition that guides planting cycles. This feature encourages users to follow the calendar for optimal planting times, promoting a deeper connection with traditional practices.
